Logistics of the OS
Can anyone direct me to an up to date map of the Olympic park with access to the ground. I have been on google maps but the pictures via street view are over a year old and some roads are closed. I assume Stratford Walk will be open which links Westfield to the Olympic park but it is shut on google street view.

I am a season ticket holder and have tickets to the game on thursday and sunday and not recieved tickets yet (not an issue as they should come today/tomorrow) but wondering if anyone has a map from the club or any good links on the web...cheers

Stoat,I left with ten mins to go and there was no traffic at all.

Was on M11 within 15 minutes.

Coming in was easy as well.

Whether it will be that easy on a weekend game remains to be seen.

Re: Logistics of the OS
The stadium will probably be barriered off so you won't get to the stones.

Even on Thursday at about 3:30pm only access to the London Stadium Store was open

TO is open every day. We got there at 3:45ish yesterday and there was no cunt there despite loads not having received tickets, so get there early Sunday and you'll be ok.

Good luck with the stones...

Re: Logistics of the OS
As our exit is facing the Hackney Wickndistrict, I seriously thought about that but once there it would only be useful to get to Stratford station ! Assume it is then across the platform to Central Line ?

Re: Logistics of the OS

Re: Logistics of the OS
walk past the shop and then down the steps that face south. You then get onto the loop road, turn left, under bridge and then along under a couple more and there's the entrance to PML next to the building work theyre doing for Crossrail.

Re: Logistics of the OS
So coming out of the East stand, to get to PML I just hang a right? I assume it isn't signposted so where the fuck do I go if they've cordoned it off?

Re: Logistics of the OS
As I got there early I did PML as opposed to my intended hackney wick route. I completely fucked up my route to HW after the game. I ended up walking past the copperbox which I found later was a long way round.

The journey from.there to H&I and Euston was not packed and reasonably quick.

My head ached this morning though. Completely forgot how many pubs I tried before the game. Refreshment room, langthorne, bat and ball, cafe football, the cow and roof East. For once I was glad the os was dry

Re: Logistics of the OS
Quick question for anyone who might know- are all the bridges leading from the stadium open before and after matches? If I'm going to Stratford International, can I potentially via London way and waterden road? Looks a slightly longer walk, but probably far, far less crowded. With my usual walking pace I could probably beat vast numbers of the slow moving crowd back to the station.

Exactly what i did and got the last train home easily, extra time would have been a pain in the arse

Re: Logistics of the OS
Euston to hackney wick took me about 25 minutes, including a five minute wait at highbury and islington for the overground.

If you're on the West or BM then Hackney Wick might be worth thinking about as the station is a bit nearer. Overground to Highbury and a short walk to change to Victoria Line compared to the schlep at St Pancras to get to the Victoria Line.

How long to get away? Did you leave early? Much traffic in general?

Did anyone use Stratford international before or after the game last night ???

I did both ways, my only complaint was having to walk the long way round with the Tube riff-raff
